On the 11th September 2021, 1st online Baltic conference of dental hygienists will take place.

Lecturers include:

DDS, PhD Ilze Maldupa (Latvia) - “Actual recommendations for managing dental caries in dental hygienist practice reducing aerosol generation.”
RDH Uliana Lenets (Russia) - "Dental hygiene in pandemic - 19 facts"
RDH Stefano Checchi (Italy) - “Caries risk assessment, early detection and minimal invasive treatments: the role of new methods and technologies, from the theory to the clinical application.”
RDH Gitana Rederiene (Lithuania) - ”The practice characteristics of Lithuanian dental hygienists.”
RDH Sharon Friedman (Israel) - “50 shades of prevention: The leading role of oral hygiene professionals in promoting dental public health.”
RDH Ellen Bol – van del Hil (Netherlands) - “Dental Hygienists in the Netherlands and experiences during the Covid-19 pandemic.”
DDS Darja Ķīse (Latvia) - "Individual patient hygiene: How to motivate a patient for a better results? Philips Sonicare."


For participation in the conference, you will receive:

  • Latvia - 12 points from the Latvian Association of Dental Hygienists
  • Lithuania and Estonia - international certificates for 8 hours

Conference price: €50, payment will be made to the Latvian Dental Hygienists Association.
